Mishka Stuip has an MSc in Environmental Science from Wageningen University. Her background lies in Socio-economic valuation of wetland ecosystem services. After working at Wetlands International, she joined IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in 2007, where she currently works as Liaison Officer Bilateral Relations.
As Liaison Officer she provides pre-award services and project management advice within the organization and works in close cooperation with Academic Departments, Rectorate and other units. She creates and maintains excellent relations with the main donor organizations and works to expand the funding opportunities for the institute. Specifically as Liaison Officer Bilateral Relations, Mishka is responsible for liaising with, and doing acquisition through programmes of the Dutch National Government such as Nuffic. Mishka manages selected projects and programmes at IHE Delft such as an MoU with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. She also provides advice and support to project leaders in the academic departments in all aspects of project management and throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.
IHE Delft Institute for Water Education offers post-graduate education in Delft, The Netherlands, and carries out research and capacity building projects all over the world. The mission of IHE Delft is to contribute to the education and training of professionals and to build the capacity of sector organizations, knowledge centers and other institutions active in the fields of water, the environment and infrastructure in developing countries and countries in transition.
